Version 7.0 Beta 2 release
The final beta release of Web+Center, Version 7, is now available for beta testing either on-line or for download and evaluation on your own Windows servers. For more information on the Version 7 Beta 2 program and evaluation options and what major new features are included in 7, please review the article below. We are still looking for a few more Version 7.0 beta testers to finalize our beta evaluation tests before we define the software as "production".

TLS support with Web+Center
Version 7.0 will also support options for TLS enabled SMTP email delivery and there are options to upgrade version 6.0 systems to support TLS. This has become a requirement for some customers who have Google based email systems that reside in the cloud. Version 7.0 uses a newer version of our ASP mailer that support TLS, SSL and secure email configurations.

Web+Center Version 7.0 Beta - 2 Program - Final Testing

Overview
Web+Center version 7.0 beta is already underway by several users and it should be released as production shortly. This version has been carefully developed over the past 2 years with feedback and feature requests directly from current Web+Center users.

New Features in Version 7

There are several new features in Version 7 including:

  • Options to create support cases from an incoming email (Email To Case)
  • New Facilities management functionality to perform, record and process facilities asset inspections more effectivity.
